And a big "B" for baby Benjamin. The fabric is from "Love U" by Deb Strain for Moda.
I am having trouble top stitching when using walking foot. I have to go very slowly and have a hard time deciding what to use to line the edge up with. If anyone has any suggestions I would love to have them. I think that I could piece a quilt in the time it takes me to make a bib! LOL My walking foot is by Bernina if that helps.
Thank you so much,
Cathy
these are adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteLove them all! And the fabric for the B is awesome. :)
ReplyDeleteYour bibs are sooooo cute!!
ReplyDeleteThose are so stinking cute! Love the birds especially. Wonderful fabric choices. I wish I had some advice for you... but I don't even know how to do what you've done already. :)

cathy i have had to take in my walking foot (also bernina) to the bernina shop to be adjusted. try that. also, they can eventually wear out, he told me. what? $100 for a sewing foot should make it LAST FOREVER! i doubt that is your problem though. :)
ReplyDeleteThese are so adorable Cathy. I actually just found Meringue Designs, look her work. Great job on the bibs. Your great niece and nephew will look adorable in these. However, they are already little darlings.
ReplyDeleteOn my machine, when I use the walking foot I have to increase the foot pressure by 1 increment--lighter for the normal foot. I also loosen the top tension just a bit and lengthen the stitch (compared to piecing). Cute bibs--hope this helps
ReplyDeletetoo dang cute, Cathy!
