Another quilt finish

This quilt had the top finished a couple months ago and was just waiting to be quilted. I am having a really tough time with pretty sick dogs and found that the  quilting  was very soothing.  The fabric  is the adorable Sherbet Pips by Aneela Hoey. I believe that her fabric lines  and Bonnie and Camille are my very favorite quilt fabrics.

More quilt ideas are floating around in my head, so I will be busy.
Hope everyone has been having lots of quilting fun,
Cathy

Quilting Blog....Oh how I have missed you...

I can not believe how neglected this poor blog is. I have been so busy making Waldorf dolls, that I have not had much time for quilting. But, with cooler weather, I always get the itch to quilt and snuggle under quilts so I have been busily stitching away.

This one is one of my go to patterns "Boxed Squares" made with Flea Market Fancy fabric. I had a lap quilt giveaway on my facebook page and this is one of them I made for it.

A little doll quilt, not yet quilted made with the yummy fabric Marmalade by Bonnie and Camille for Moda and a little doll dress made with wonderful Liberty of London fabric.

Next up will be a baby quilt for my great nephew who was born in August, I am a little late but I am making it sort of large so he can use it for quite a while.

So happy to be back...take care everyone,
Cathy

Can it really be February 14th?

  • Am I showing my age by saying that? LOL  I am really saying it because of what a slack blogger I am. I have been making quilts, mainly doll sized ones but did make one for myself on my birthday. Once it was washed and dried I proceeded to snuggle under it.  Just a simple boxed squares patterns, the best to show off the yummy goodness of "Ruby" by Camille and Bonnie for Moda.

One of the little doll quilts I made....I love this fabric, it is so soft and just plain cute

Sort of hard to tell....but the fabric is the wonderful "Walk in the Woods" by Aneela Hoey for Moda. I have every one of her fabric lines.

And one more ...this is  fabric by Heather Ross...I finally cut into it. :-)
I hope everyone is doing well.  I am going to try really hard to post more often. I plan on making the "Swoon" quilt like so many others are doing. I swoon every time I see people's blocks.

Take care,
Cathy
