The pattern "Jelly-Filled" by Camille of "Simplify" would work beautifully with this jelly roll and fabric. If you are interested in this giveaway, please leave me your email address and I would love to know what are your favorite color schemes: a-brights, b-more muted reproduction like fabrics , or c- modern designer fabrics. It is always so much fun to see all the different choices made in blogland.
Happy Friday,
Cathy
I would have to check all of the above, although only recently. My stash seems to be overwhelmed by repro and primitives, so I have been forced to branch out for particular projects - and I do love the Moda fabrics.
ReplyDeleteHI
ReplyDeleteI would love to own that book, in fact on my Friday and Saturday blog I wrote about it and book 2!!!! I also love the fabric! I am going to write about your give away on my blog this morning as I am so excited about it.
I like 'b' only because my house looks better with 'b' quilts. Thanks for the chance to win!!
Paulette
I am definitely heading in the c choice of more modern designer fabrics...its so hard to cut them up though!! Such pretty stuff. Thanks for the giveaway, its a great one!

I LOVE that fabric and would love to make a quilt out of it! The book would be wonderful to have too! I normally go for the darker prim/country colors but have found myself drawn towards brights lately! Thanks for the giveaway! :0)

ReplyDeletesusanlanthrip@knology.net
Hey I absolutely love bright fabrics, but am very happy to play with any fabrics!!
ReplyDeletelittle_missoakden@hotmail.co.uk
Hi, thank you for the offer! I describe my tastes as trying to go the earthy tones of Debbie Mumm, but always ending up bright as Mary Englebreit -! But I'm trying to be a little less predictable in my choices. These fabrics are pretty. pokey
ReplyDeleteCathy, your giveaway's are always so fabulous! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI tend to lean towards more "natural" colors. I love the Kansas Troubles lines from Moda but I'm also hooked on American Jane and some of the more feminine lines from Fig Tree Quilts!

ReplyDeletei love anything that looks vintage or old-fashioned. so the repro and civil war era fabrics are probably my favorite!
I just sorted and re-arranged my stash closet and the answer is definitely bright. My friends and I laugh at how obvious that is. Love the fabric you've shown. It looks yummy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely give-away! I would be extremely happy, if it landed in Denmark ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love Moda fabrics and batics, but I like to play with almost any colour!
Have a nice weekend!

Oh wow what a great giveaway! I love civil war reproduction fabrics, 30's fabrics, and also love 3 sisters, anything Moda, Red Rooster and RJR. Really I'm not picky :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun give-away. I work with a variety of colors & fabrics, but I don't think I'm great with color. I do love Moda fabrics, batiks and vintage. I enjoy working with bright cheerful fabrics, especially when making charity quilts. But I enjoy the challenge of finding the right design for a variety of fabrics.

I do love the Moda fabric. In fact--- I love a number of different types of color/fabric styles. I love redwork and bluework for pieced quilts, brights for childrens quilts, and my all time favorite is a vintage shabby chic look.
ReplyDeletersgrandinetti@yahoo(dot)com
Actually, I am no snob. I just love fabric. I have no favourites - but I am partial to tone-on-tone. Colour, black and white, I love them all.
ReplyDeleteyummy, i love that jelly roll......i love moda fabrics, but can't always afford them, if something catches my eye and it's "cheap" stuff, i don't care.........pick me, pick me
ReplyDeleteThank you for the give a way! I like bright colors and moda fabric!
ReplyDeletetexstar32@hotmail.com
I would just love to win your giveaway! The colors of the jellyroll and the fabric cuts is awesome! My colors are all over the place. I have a few bright quilts, a few darker ones and lots of flowery ones.
ReplyDeletemeek1mccoy@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteRight now I am loving designer lines at JoAnns...their whole lines...and then seeing what the coors they put together look like in the end! But I lean most towards bright, fun colors.
I love 30s and civil war repros...but I'm trying to put some variety in my stash so I'm starting to make myself pick up a fat quarter or two of fabrics that I'm not in LUV with.
ReplyDeletethis is such a generous giveaway. I would love the chance to win. I personally really love bright and modern fabrics. Greens especially draw me in!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous giveaway-Cathy- I love working with color- I especially like batiks and Laurel Burch fabrics. I also really like florals, especially sunflowers.
ReplyDeleteI have recently begun to collect 30's fabrics as I want to make an old fashioned quilt.
Whoever wins your giveaway will be very lucky indeed.

Great giveaway. My favorites are bright fabrics. I would love to win this fabric and book. Thanks for the chance to wnter. treasa.hamilton@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI love bright fabrics! But I also like muted, vintage tones. Reproductions of older fabrics are lovely in quilts, but I'm not drawn to them in the quilt stores.
ReplyDeleteI like b- muted reproduction fabrics. They are safe for me, though I am trying new fabric combinations. Thank you for the chance to join the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteChristina D
I love bright colors, but muted reproductions and modern fabrics have a place in my stash too! :)
ReplyDeleterechriss@yahoo.com
My favorite color scheme, what a question! I am the type who wants to make a quilt out of every color combination! I love pure colors, red and aqua or turquoise with white accents. I also love red and yellow. I love browns and creams with some popout color, like red or pink....I always like to have creams and light yellows on hand. I like to keep lots of reds and the rest sort of fall into place.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway - I am just building up my material stash and would have to say I really like modern fabric designs!!
ReplyDeleteFun giveaway! I like brights or modern design fabrics.
ReplyDeleteuglyoldbat@hotmail.com
